Rupee dropped and weak, Sensex dropped by 300 points

Due to uncertainties related to the results of the assembly elections and the weakness in the rupee, the Sensex has seen a decline of more than 350 points in the afternoon trading on Thursday in the domestic market.

All the sectors of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) fall. At one o'clock in the afternoon, the Sensex slipped 303.74 points to 35,580.67. In the trading so far, the Sensex went up to the lowest level with 35,707.23 points and the lowest level with 35,468.12 points. Meanwhile, the Nifty was down 103.75 points at 10,679.15.

Crude oil prices have remained volatile between OPEC's prospects for oil supply cuts. Weakness in the Indian rupee continues and the rupee is at 71 level against a US dollar.
